Its Like the RiTEK USB Flash Drive Doesn’t Take Up Any Ports

Philips launched its Essence TV At IFA 2008, a stylish 38mm deep LCD television designed to hang flush on your wall and look very pretty while doing so.

However, Essence is just the tip of the iceberg and Philips was on hand to demonstrate a super-skinny 8mm prototype TV also.

Sony’s New Wireless Audio System for Apple

Even Sony can’t resist the iPod’s charm. Recently they released a new wireless multi-room audio system for iPod players. The new S-Airplay system features S-Air technology, promised to give painless and effortless wireless multi-room audio without interfering with other household devices.

Now Large Full-HD TVs Come Cheap, Thanks to Sharp

Just like the law of gravity, what goes up (in size) must come down (in price). Here’s a perfect example for that law. Sharp has recently announced several new LCD HDTVs to bring full high-definition experience to the masses. The SB series (LC-52SB55U, LC-46SB54U and LC-42SB45U) comes in sizes of 42-inches, 46-inches, and 52-inches.

All three models feature a pixel response time of about 6ms (6.5ms on the 42-inch model), and are claimed to provide excellent picture quality in fast-moving action scenes. The wide viewing angles help make the TV viewable from almost any angle. (more…)

Sony’s New Blu-Ray Players Make Your Home Entertainment Better

Finally Sony has officially launched its newest Blu-ray players, the BDP-S350 and the BDP-S550. These new players boast several improvements compared to the previous versions.

The S350 packs BonusView, precision drive HD technology and it is BD-live ready through a firmware upgrade coming in October. The upscaling technology which is dubbed Precision Cinema HD will work its wonder improving “standard-def” footage to full HD 1080p quality. Of course, if you use the player to play solely Blu-ray discs, this feature will pretty much go unused. (more…)
