Bose SoundLink: Wireless Speakers That Deliver Crystal Clear Sound
Bose recently announced it’s new SoundLink music wireless system. This latest offering allows you to play your computer music on a stereo system without tripping over anything.
The system works with a USB dongle that broadcasts music from your computer to the speaker unit. The best part about it is, there is no software or WiFi connection required to set this bad boy up. Reception is not going to be a problem either since Bose guarantees that it will work through most walls and floors. The speaker on the other hand has the same Bose waveguide speaker technology which is famous for making small enclosures fill-up rooms with high quality sound. It is also juiced with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which should last for three hours at full blast while varying at different volume levels. An auxiliary input also allows you not only to hook up your computer, but anything else that can be plugged with headphones. Last but not least, the system comes with an IR remote with your standard set of commands.
Naturally, it wouldn’t be a Bose if it didn’t cost you an arm and a leg. Expect this wireless nugget to punch a $550 hole in your wallet sometime around August 27, 2009.
