The BlackBerry Curve 8900: A New Treat for AT&T Subscribers

The new BlackBerry Curve 8900

AT&T subscribers are about to get a new sweet treat.

This summer, AT&T will be adding the newest BlackBerry Curve 8900 to its lineup.  This nifty little gadget has a lot to offer.  Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a juicy 480 x 360 pixel LCD screen to start.  The phone is to be a quad-band EDGE (850/1900/1700/1800 MHz) world phone, but unfortunately no word of 3G capability with AT&T.

The lack of 3G may be a severed downside to many, considering that AT&T does have a solid 3G network behind them.  While the absense of 3G capability is definitely a downside, the GPS capability of the Curve 8900 will work with AT&T’s Navigator service.

To date, there is no mention of pricing for the new Curve.
