The Mitsubishi LaserVue Makes HDTV Better With Lasers

The 65″ 1080p LaserVue HDTV from Mitsubishi is an innovative development in the HDTV niche market. Rather than using standard LCD’s in its screen, the LaserVue makes use of its namesake, the Laser.

The HDTV uses a color range that is twice as broad as typical models and also consumes more than 30 percent less energy. To sweeten the deal, Mitsubishi claims that the lasers will never need replacing. The unit produces an incredibly vivid picture and even comes 3D ready.

The LaserVue projection HDTV is available now for $7,000.
