The HP Firebird 803 Gaming PC Revealed

HP’s latest gaming machine is on the horizon, and a pic of the system has recently been leaked on the net. The HP Firebird PC 803 is a followup model to the previous, bulkier, HP Blackbird 002, and this model features many compact, streamlined features to make it more accommodating for users.

The disc drive, for starters, is now vertical rather than horizontal, as are many other components, which allows for a much thinner tower. This not only saves tons of space, but makes the PC look more like a gaming console than a PC.

Additional features include:

  • Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz processor
  • NVIDIA nForce 760i SLI chipset
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800S video cards
  • Two 320GB SATA hard drives
  • Blu-ray player
  • 5-in-1 card reader
  • 6 USB, 1 FireWire, 2 eSATA, 1 S/PDIF and 1 DVI dual-link
  • Bluetooth
  • 802.11n WiFi capability
