Sony’s New Cyber-Shot T700 And T77 Cameras Are Here

To refresh its not-so-old digital compact camera line-up, Sony has launched the Cyber-shot DSC-T77 and the DSC-T700. There are no pixel upgrades here, the sensor is still 10 megapixels. Of course that still translates to great photo results.
The obvious improvement can be seen right away, as the T77 is now Sony’s thinnest digital camera. All the fun and modern photography features are present including face detection, high sensivity shooting, smile shutter, and in-camera image management. Although it’s really slim, the T77 boasts a big 3-inch LCD touchscreen.
As usual, you’ll get lots of color choicees: black, silver, gold, pink, or red. The Carl Zeiss lens can reach up to 5x optical zoom (35mm-140mm).
Meanwhile, the T700 has all the features from the T77 plus a big 4GB internal memory. The styling is slightly different, as well as the color choices that range from silver, black, green, pink, or brown. Searching photos in the camera is also simplified, thanks to the advanced search engine that can search photos based on the event, date, smile or face, folders, etc.
