Introducing The New and Improved 9800 GTX+ Graphics Card
Possibly in response to AMD’s new HD 4850, NVIDIA has announced their 9800 GTX+ Video Card which will be available in mid-July. This card is a considerable bump over the current 9800 GTX.
Core clock speed increased from 675 MHz to 738 Mhz. The Shader clock increased from 1688 MHz to 1836 MHz. NVIDIA will employ its new 55nm process to make this all possible. This means faster speed using less electricity and creating less heat.
With AMD gaining momentun, NVIDIA will be forced to use every trick in the book to stay on top, including lower prices and quicker cards.
