Ricoh’s New 12-Megapixel GX200
Any of you who happen to be living in Japan on the 4th of July will be able to celebrate with Ricoh’s newest offering. The GX200, the followup to last year’s GX100, looks ready to please with a slick case design and a bevy of shooting modes.
Features include:
- 12 Megapixel 1 / 1.7 inch CCD
- 25mm thick body
- 24-72mm Zoom Lens
- 2.7-inch HVGA LCD screen with 460,000 pixels
- 5FPS continuous RAW mode
- Electronic level function for horizontal and vertical shooting
The GX200 will set you back $740 with the optional electronic viewfinder or $560 without it. Ricoh plans to distribute the camera internationally later in the year, after the Japanese launch.
