Introducing Nokia’s Supernova Series
After much anticipation, Nokia has finally, and officially, introduced its new line of sleek and sexy phones. The Supernova Series represents the mid-range fashion section of the market. They are meant for consumers who see their phones as a fashion accessory as well as a communications device.
The new line includes two “candy-bar” phones, the 7210 and 7310. It will also include a flip phone, the 7510, and a slider, the 7610. Apparently the conspicuously absent 7410 was not worthy of market.
The base phone, the 7210, includes tri-band GSM radio, EDGE, a 2 Megapixel camera, and an FM radio. The slightly better 7310 supports changeable Xpress-On faceplates, TV-out, and GSM 850. The 7510 crams all the features of the 7310 in a flip-phone form factor while the 7610 incorporates a 3.2 Megapixel camera.
Though the 7310 is available immediately, you’ll have to wait a quarter or two to get your hands on the rest of these phones.
