These Gresso Cell Phones are Encrusted in Diamonds

Just in case you haven’t bought the Vertu, here’s another luxury GSM handset from Gresso. Their latest Avantgarde White Diamonds collection offers superior originality of design and materials. The collection is comprised of two models, namely the Gresso White Diamonds and the Gresso Royal White Diamonds.

Both models use the same design features found in the previous models: body panels made from 200-year old African blackwood, with titanium base-plate keyboards, stainless steel battery cover (complete with magnetic lock), and leather and gold decoration. About the phone features, these Gresso handsets feature tri-band GSM, a 65K color TFT display, a microSD memory card slot, and a 2 Megapixel camera. They are running on Windows Mobile 6.

However the similarities end there. The display of White Diamonds Collection are covered with 42K sapphire crystal glass, with keys from 18K gold and a Roman style laser-cut keypad.

So what’s the difference between the two? Well, the cheaper one, Gresso White Diamonds only has its navigation keys encrusted with white diamonds, so the price is a dirt ‘cheap’ 9000 Euros.

Meanwhile, the Gresso Royal White Diamonds are only available in 200 units and all the 23 keys will be adorned with 2.53K of white diamonds. Wow, talking about a product that tries to live up to its name. The price? A jaw-dropping 33000 Euros.
