The Voodoo Envy 133 Laptop is Just .7 Inches Thin!

The collaboration of Voodoo and HP has finally bear fruit. The new Envy 133 is one of the most beautiful, sleekest laptops on earth.

Personally, I even like it better than the MacBook Air. The design sports a carbon fiber case that weighs just 3.4 pounds and it is only a mere 0.7 inches thin. It is complete with retro futuristic edges. You can customize it by choosing one of 14 Voodoo Allure paint colors and a selection of laser engravings.

Beneath the case, you’ll find a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display. It also has a backlit keyboard with a font that will please Star Trek fans, and a textured multi-gesture touchpad.

Connectivity is a little better than the Air. You’ll get two USB ports (one doubles as an eSATA port), optional integrated mobile broadband and an HDMI port. The battery is also replaceable, where as the MacBook Air’s is not.

Speaking about power, the Envy 133 packs an interesting new feature called Voodoo OIS. By launching this feature, you can access Internet, play music and display photos without running Windows Vista. The standalone process can be loaded in about 10 seconds, which is way faster than the regular boot to Windows. Voodoo OIS is also claimed to save battery life.
