SanDisk Unveils the fastest Memory Stick Ever at 30Mbps
Today SanDisk unveiled their latest line of memory cards known as the Extreme III Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo, and these aren’t your ordinary sticks. What’s special about these cards are their write and read transfer speed of up to 30Mbps. Yes you read that right.
The older non-HG versions were managing 18-20MBps, as opposed to the new accelerated version. It comes in 8Gb or 4GB and both get up to 30Mbps. It is said to be compatible with your PSP, Sony’s home and professional still cameras and certain camcorders. It’s priced around $90-$150 depending on the amount of storage, these new memory sticks should be released right in time for all your summer pictures.
