A Hands-On with the New iPhone 2.0 Firmware
The iPhone firmware 2.0 beta has been tested, and it seems that it contains some cool new features and some well thought of updates. For example, support for Microsoft Exchange has been added allowing for easier access to widely used corporate email systems.
It now pushes the changes over the AT&T network, although on WiFi the changes take a while to take affect.
Apple has also added functionality that allows you to select multiple emails and move or delete them as a group.

Also in accordance with the Cisco licensing, the Cisco VPN screen has been properly branded as Cisco, and you can now select your own preferred WiFi connection.

Seems that the firmware is bringing some well sought after updates and enhancements.
